Enola Holmes 2 Review

I recently watched the sequel to Enola Holmes, which was released onto Netflix on November 4th. This movie is something I was excited to watch because I liked the first one and was happy to find out they were making a sequel. I wanted to share my overall opinions on the movie.

A lot of the cast stayed the same in the sequel, which I appreciated. Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill were among some of the original cast members who reprised their roles in the sequel as Enola Holmes and Sherlock Holmes. There were also some new cast members. These new cast members included David Thewlis and Hannah Dodd. David Thewlis plays Grail, who is an antagonistic superintendent. Hannah Dodd plays Cicely, who is at the center of the mystery. I liked that this movie kept a lot of the same cast but also added in new interesting characters because it set the sequel apart from the first movie.

I would say that overall this movie was very enjoyable. I enjoyed that the sequel was based on a mystery. The mystery was well thought out and also easy to follow. It kept the same basic ideas as the first movie without being too similar. Something I also enjoyed was the acting in this movie. The cast seemed experienced, and the movie was very well-written.

Overall, I would recommend watching this movie - it is something fun to watch by yourself or with friends!
