August 31st, 1997. Most people remember the world's reaction to finding out that the beloved "people's princess" Diana, Princess of Wales, had been killed in a tragic car accident. In the years following her death, however, people started to speculate whether the car accident that killed her was really just that: an accident.

Thousands of people doubt the Royal Family's official story regarding the death of the ex-member, instead choosing to believe one or several conspiracy theories regarding the incident. The most common theory is that the Royal Family of Britain paid to have her murdered and covered it up. Given Princess Diana's place in the world's hearts and the overwhelming support in her favor following the divorce, thousands speculated that the family decided to protect personal appearance. Another popular theory believes the CIA killed her as part of a revenge plot. Perhaps John Mulany killed her? Or maybe it was aliens? Whatever you believe, please vote below!
