Anthony Holter Hired as VP of Advancement

St. Francis High School is pleased to announce that Anthony Holter will serve as our school’s Vice President of Advancement beginning Monday, August 5.
 
Anthony is a passionate advocate for Catholic education with an impressive background. Most recently, he served at Empower Illinois for six years, as Executive Director and then President, raising more than $240 million to fund 35,000+ scholarships for students to attend the private schools of their choice.
 
Additionally, he was Executive Director of the Fulcrum Foundation, supporting fundraising for the Archdiocese of Seattle schools. At Fulcrum, he launched a $65+ million capital campaign to fund new and innovative programs to sustain and strengthen the archdiocese’s schools.
 
He was also integral at the Alliance for Catholic Education at the University of Notre Dame, where he served as Director of Program Evaluation and Research and as Faculty in the Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program.
  
His career is rooted in education, beginning as a Catholic middle school teacher of science and religion, assistant coach of baseball and track, and more.
 
He earned his bachelor’s in Theology from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, master’s in education from the University of Notre Dame, and Ph.D. in Education Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

His amiable and warm personality is a perfect fit for our mission to promote spiritual, academic, physical, and social development in the daily presence of Jesus Christ. He is a St. Petronille Parishioner and volunteer living locally in Glen Ellyn and has a great understanding and appreciation for our school community.
